Ride comfort is among the best in class, with the suspension soaking up potholes and drain covers with aplomb. The 1.6 diesel pulled well under all conditions, well enough for confident A and B road overtaking.

If you think the DS4 is just a C4 with a smart new suit you'd be making a mistake. Citroen have changed every panel except the bonnet and raised the car 30mm to give it a very individual identity, Style is a hugh part of the DS4's appeal.
