Fiat Twin Air

The cleanest engine in Europe is launched in the UK on 28th October. The Fiat 500 will be the first vehicle within the Fiat range to be equipped with the new 875cc twin-cylinder turbo-charged TwinAir engine.

Already the TwinAir engine has received huge amounts of positive feedback from journalists all over the world.

AUTOCAR " The TwinAir shows that amazing advances are possible in the practical efficiency of small cars, and it makes and invaluable addition to Fiat's small-car range that other manufacturers must surely envy. It's a great ownership proposition, and a lot of simple fun."

TwinAir will be introduced as a new engine across the entire Fiat 500 and 500C range in addition to the current 1.2, 1.4 and 1.3 MultiJet engines.

With a power output of 85 bhp and CO2 emissions of just 95 g/km, the Fiat 500 TwinAir offers a unique proposition.

In fact with the lowest CO2 emissions and the most frugal fuel consumption on the combined cycle, the TwinAir is officially the cleanest engine in Europe.

A new colour: Volare Blue, which is the launch colour of the TwinAir. The Blue colour is reminiscent of the colour of the sky  - the word VOLARE means "fly" in Italian.
